Fashion Haul!

Recently I did a little shopping at H&M and man is their spring collection AMAZING! My closet mostly consists of blacks and neutrals, not so much color. So I decided to take a little risk and play around with some spring time colors. What I love most about spring time is not only the comfort of the clothes, but the color palettes. There's always pastels, mints, rosy hues and cream...my heaven. Most of my purchases are from H&M and let me tell you, they have such good deals! It's the perfect store if you need office attire on a budget or need a quick cheap outfit. Plus the quality is pretty good for the price, as long as you take care of it properly. Well, here we go!

When I saw this shirt, my heart melted. I'm a sucker for anything floral, it just yells "Spring". It's a sheer chiffon blouse with cherry blossoms all around. The color combo is made up of cream, pinks, reds, soft grey and purples. It's a very lightweight blouse which is perfect for the upcoming seasons and the pattern just adds it up all together. I did wear this to work tucked in to a pale pink pencil skirt and a pair of nude pumps. Because the blouse is sheer, I did have to wear a camisole underneath. I went with a nude colored camisole just because it blended well with the blouse and it wouldn't be too bright like the color white. Had I not wore it work, maybe I would have still worn a camisole or I would go with a nude colored bra. Overall for $19.95, it's not a bad deal for the spring time!

The one thing I lack the most in my wardrobe is dressy tank-tops. I have a ton of basic camisoles and muscles tanks, but nothing fancy. What I love about this tank is that it's perfect for layering. I can easily tuck this in to a pencil skirt or slacks, throw over a blazer, some accessories and call it even....or I could throw on some jeans and sandals. I believe there are 3 other designs but I went with cream just because it's plain (easy for layering other colors) and it's one of my favorite neutral colors. The material is soft and feels like chiffon at the top. It was a little over my price range for just a plain tank ($12.95), but it is what it is.

Keeping up with the lack of dressy tanks, I snagged this one to spice things up. It's an all black chiffon tank with a black slip under the top layer. The sequins are all black and sewn on the tank into an elaborate design. I thought this was perfect to wear to work and transition it to a "Night Out" outfit. It is a bit short for me, my belly button is exposed, therefore wearing to work would be a bit of a challenge. I know I'll get some use out of it outside of work, especially when the weather warms up. Not so much a big deal since I bought it on clearance for $5. Got to love their sales!

As you can tell I went crazy with the tank tops. Baby Pink isn't a color you'll see in my wardrobe which is why I opted to buy this. It's a nice spring time color and the ruffle detail reminds me of blooming flowers. It looks a little boxy, but when you move around it takes the shape of your body. The length is pretty long which makes it good for tucking in, but a little challenging when wearing jeans. The material is a little stiff but soft at the same time.
Based on the quality and design, I'd say $10 isn't such a bad deal.

Loved it so much, I bought it in another color (Cream)! My only complaint is the clasps. There's about 3-4 clasps that go down the middle of the ruffles and if you're busty, this might not be for you. I'm smaller chested so it was no problem, getting it on the mannequin was. But again, perfect for those days when you just want to be comfortable and not constricted in a blouse.

*All the items will be listed below, along with sizes I purchased. Happy Hauling!
